Product development & DFM

Our team picks up where your designers leave off. We make your product manufacturable.

What makes us different:

We're not trying to be your design firm. We're trying to make whatever YOUR design firm hands us better, cheaper, and faster to manufacture. Most sourcing companies skip this layer entirely...they just quote whatever spec comes. We refuse to do that

Think of it like a relay race. A product designer or industrial design firm hands us the baton at the prototype stage, and we take it from there into production. We do the less-glamorous stuff that happens AFTER design: material swaps that cut cost without affecting performance, design-for-manufacturing tweaks, sub-component re-engineering, value engineering reviews, and the constant small efficiencies that turn a beautiful design/prototype into a reliable production product.

Design for Manufacturing (DFM) review of your existing files

Material substitution analysis (cheaper, stronger, faster)

Component re-engineering for assembly efficiency

Pre-production sample iteration with the factory

Reverse-engineering existing products

We don't do concept-to-prototype work for new clients. That's a different specialty, and we'll happily refer you to people who do it well. Once we're working together on production, we sometimes pick up product development work for new lines, because at that point, we already understand your business, your customer, and your manufacturing constraints.
